  11. 'COBOL' syntax parsers for GoldEd 4.7 and GoldEd 5.0
  12. 4.7 works well enough, although i would welcome feed back, on use or
  13. improvements. BTW the continue option is a bit ropey, but it wont break ya ;)
  14. Supplementary dictionary file option now included.

  16. 5.0 UNTESTED!, but i have been told by GoldEd's author, a simple
  17. recompilation with latest includes should surfice. 
  18. If this works for you can you drop me a line saying so, as the GoldEd author
  19. says he can't be bothered to test this for me ;(

  22. The tab option featured in goldEd 5.0 has not been implemented, as this goes
  23. against Cobol's practice of, one charecter, one space.

  26. To use just copy relavent files (NRCOBOL.parser [+ NRCOBOL.extra]) to 
  27. GoldEd:syntax, then evoke syntax highlights via menu/extras/Option local
  28.  
  29. The optional file NRCOBOL.extra, allows you to specify additional 
  30. keywords to be highlighted. Each word should upper case, on a seperate
  31. line, with no spaces before linefeed and in alphabetic order. Be sure 
  32. to leave the first and last line as is.
